The at-home sleep test is simple to operate, and when completed, we will have all of your necessary sleep data to determine the nature and severity of your sleep apnea and what treatment options are best suited to your needs.
The Sleep Test
After an initial screener questionnaire to determine if you are indeed a candidate for a sleep test, we will get you all the information you need to move forward with an at-home sleep test. The device we use is called the WatchPAT One and is about the size of a smartwatch. The device is worn on your wrist, and a pulse oximeter attached to the device attaches to your finger. The pulse oximeter will monitor your sleep patterns throughout the night. Examples of the information it collects include:
- Sleep Stages
- Oxygen levels
- Heart Rate
- Body Position
- Respiratory Disturbance Index
- Wake to Sleep Ratio
After the test is completed, your sleep data will automatically be uploaded and sent to us for review. Our sleep specialists will break down your data and use it to design a custom treatment plan for your specific needs.
